Black Holes VII will be a scholarly research-related conference focusing on the latest advances in the theoretical and mathematical aspects of black hole physics. The conference "Black Hole VII" is the seventh conference in the series of conferences  "Black Holes: Theory and Mathematical Aspects" which was started in 1997. These conferences take place every second year, immediately before the Canadian Conference on General Relativity and Relativistic Astrophysics (CCGRRA-13) . "Black Hole VII" will take place May 9-15, 2009, at the Inns of Banff ,  located at 600 Banff Avenue, Alberta, Canada, just before the CCGRRA 13 meeting. The "Black Hole VII" conference, as the previous ones, will cover a wide spectrum of topics such as physical effects near black holes, black holes and quantum gravity, black holes and strings, numerical relativity, black holes in astrophysics, relativistic effects and compact objects, gravitational wave production in systems containing black holes.  We expect to have about 70 participants.

Invited speakers include: Matthew Choptuik , Roberto Emparan, Greg Landsberg , Luis Lehner, Kei-ichi Maeda, Robert Mann , Robert Myers , Ramesh Narayan , Takahiro Tanaka , William Unruh
